The issue usually occurs during the process of a user joining a session when the host ends the session. When call client.join(meetingId, token, userName, passcode) will create new meeting session instead. While it has become widely accepted to put the link into the invite, some don’t do so. As an attendee, this creates an issue for manual input error and can result in being late to the meeting. To avoid this, meeting attendees desire an option to convert their Meeting ID and Password to a one-click link.
Invalid meeting ID / error code 3001
From a security standpoint, a user that has a valid Meeting ID and Password is in the same position as one with the Join URL for the same meeting. If step 1 is completed but step 2 has not yet finished connecting to the media server, and the host ends the session during this time, it results in a JOIN_MEETING_FAILED error. The Zoom Developer Platform is an open platform that allows third-party developers to build applications and integrations upon Zoom’s video-first unified communications platform. I am trying to remove this app from my Zoom account, but am struggling to find the “Apps on Account” tab/page. We can’t access the meeting via zoom backend (even when trying to edit the meeting – see the screenshot attached). You’re correct that the ZAK token is required to join a meeting on behalf of a user, but it’s actually not needed if you just want the bot to join on its own.

I’m trying to add zoom to a 3rd party provisioning tool and it needs the Connection Name, Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret. I’ve been searching for this in both my zoom profile and zoom app marketplace and can not find what im looking for. My suggestion here would just be to omit any kind of join token in your config.toml, and instead just provide your Client ID, Client Secret, and the meeting URL that you want to join. The good news is that it is super simple to find using our REST API. One of the simplest ways that you can access it is the account_id parameter of the Get a User API.
